Alfa Romeo released recently the first commercial for the 4C concept, which had its world debut at this year's Geneva auto show. Alfa Romeo's 4C concept previews a future compact supercar, with a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture, measuring 4 meters in length. The 4C is a two-door two-seat vehicle, which looks a bit like the Lotus Elise. The power of Alfa's 4C comes from the 1750 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which develops 200 hp. Mated to the TCT twin dry clutch, this engine can take the Alfa Romeo 4C from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5 seconds and up to a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
The inspiration for the Alfa Romeo 4C came from its bigger brother, the 8C Competizione. the new concept borrows 8C's materials and some of its
technology. Alfa Romeo announced that the 4C will go on sale next year. Until then, watch its first presentation video after the jump.
