A new video surfaced recently in the Italian press showing a sticky accelerator pedal problem that shows up at the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Apparently, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is not the only model manufactured by the Italian company that develops this sticky accelerator pedal problem in time. The clip shows the same test being performed on the Fiat Bravo, Lancia Delta and Fiat Stilo. They all developed the same defect that makes the accelerator pedal get stuck behind the brake pedal in manual gearbox equipped models.
Harald Wester, Alfa's CEO said this is an isolated incident and that this problem never showed up during testing of the cars.
