Alfa Romeo has presented this week-end the Alfa Romeo Giulietta safety car which will be used for 13 races of the SBK World Superbike Championship. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta safety car is based on the Quadrifoglio Verde model powered by the 1750 TBi that develops 235 hp. The exact details of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta safety car have not been released yet, but it seems under the hood it's a standard vehicle. The obvious differences between the standard car and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta safety car include a new front spoiler and side skirts, a new livery and roof lights.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta safety car will also be used in the Superstock 600 European Championship and the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup.
