At the end of last week Aston Martin revealed the special edition V8 Vantage SP10, which is inspired by the Vantage GT4 race car. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 is powered by the same 4.7-litre V8 engine as the one of the Vantage S and it develops 436 PS and 490 Nm of torque. The Vantage SP10 is able to get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 305 km/h. One of interesting features of the SP10 Vantage is that it comes with a six-speed manual transmission. It also features an aero package inspired by the V12 Vantage and a bespoke exhaust system with active bypass valves. The Aston Vantage SP10 can be optionally equipped with the Sportshift II automated manual seven-speed transmission, that offers a faster acceleration thanks to shorter shift times.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 is going to be available both as a coupe and a roadster, and it will be sold with either one of two exterior colors: Ceramic Grey Metallic and Titan Grey. It comes with 19-inch alloys, black brake calipers, a new front splitter, a rear carbon diffuser and clear rear lights.

At the interior, the SP10 V8 Vantage features an Alcantara sports steering wheel, a Piano Black center console, and various other styling elements. The Vantage SP10's equipment list includes satellite navigation, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, a standard 750W Premium Audio Sound System and an optional 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio System. The Aston Vantage SP10 can also be equipped with a reversing camera, sports suspension, and carbon seats.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10's price is going to be announced at a later date.
