Aston Martin revealed today the latest version of their V8 Vantage model range. Both the coupe and the roadster versions of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2013 come with several updates in design and technology. In fact, Aston Martin claims that the 2013 V8 Vantage underwent the most extensive updating program since 2008. Aston Martin's V8 Vantage 2013 comes with a revised 4.7-litre engine, which develops 420bhp (426PS/313kW). The 2013 Vantage V8 continues to be available with the standard six-speed manual transmission. The optional six-speed Sportshift gearbox however, has been replaced by the seven-speed Sportshift II. Apart from the new gear, the nee transmission offers the V8 Vantage 2013 closer ratios, lower final drive and shorter shift times.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2013 also comes with bigger brakes, and a revised chassis. Aston says that the new V8 Vantage offers better response and control, which giving and improved driving experience.
In terms of styling, the 2013 Vantage V8's aero package is inspired by the Vantage S and the N400 limited edition. The most obvious new features of the Aston V8 Vantage (2013) include the new front bumper with an integrated splitter and the rear diffuser.
The 2013 Aston Martin V8 Vantage's price list starts at £84,995 GBP / €108,500 EUR.
