Audi revealed this week the new A3 Sportback g-tron, that's able to run on compressed natural gas. The Audi A3 Sportback g-tron's price starts at €25,900 and it currently available for ordering in Germany. Audi's g-tron A3 Sportback is powered by a 1.4-litre TFSI engine that's good for 110 PS. The Audi A3 g-tron can be operated on natural gas, e-gas generated by Audi or petrol. The e-gas is synthetic methane that's produced by Audi. When running on e-gas, the A3 g-tron emits no CO2 whatsoever. Audi's A3 g-tron is rated with a fuel economy between 3.2 and 3.3 kilograms of gas per 100 kilometers, which means 100 km are going to cost you around 3.50 Euros. When buy an Audi A3 Sportback g-tron you get the option of purchasing an e-gas fuel card, which is priced at 14.95 euros per month.

You can refuel your A3 g-tron with e-gas from over 650 fuel stations in Germany.
