The British press has just revealed new Audi RS7 info as the company's new model range, the Audi A7, is preparing to enter the spotlight. However, the Audi RS7 has still a long way to go until it will be available in showrooms. The "standard" version of the car, the Audi A7, will be unveiled towards the end of this year at the Paris auto show in September. The Audi RS7 is expect to become available sometime next year.
Early rumors suggest the power of the Audi RS7 will come from the 5.2 liter V10 engine that will be tuned to output 580 hp. In terms of gearbox options, the Audi RS7 apparently will only be offered with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Early spy images of the Audi RS7 show a camouflaged vehicle that reveals some clues about its true origins. The Audi RS7 will have the RS-trademark double exhaust, probably a new front spoiler and rear diffuser and a retractable boot lid wing.
