New Audi RS3 info emerges today as the new German performance model was spotted testing on the Nurburgring race track. Most sources believe the Audi RS3 is have the same powerplant as the TT RS, which means it will house under it's hood a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. The Audi RS3 will develop 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The performance figures of the Audi RS3 will also get close to the ones of the TT RS. The top speed will be limited to 155 km/h and it will need less than 5 seconds to reach 100 km/h. However, the Ingolstadt carmaker might surprise us and use a different engine on the Audi RS3. The direct competition for the Audi RS3 will be the Volkswagen Golf R, the ford Focus RS and the BMW 135i. Two of them have just over 300 hp and the golf "only" 270 hp. With 340 hp, the Audi RS3 will pulverize the competition.
As seen in new spy images, the Audi RS3 will have large front intakes and a new bumper. The rest will look similar to the S3.
