The British journalists from AutoExpress are some of the first to released a review of Audi's new hot hatch, the RS3. They test the Audi RS3 on public streets, and even though a track day would offer better insight, the winding mountain roads they used, do the job just fine. Audi's top of the line hatchback, the RS3, is powered by the 2.5-litre TFSI engine that's good for 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. This is a lot more than anything else you'll be able to find on this market segment at this moment. Even the new generation Subaru Impreza STI is rated at less, with 'just' 300+ hp under its bonnet. Just as the STI, the Audi RS3 is also equipped with an all-wheel-drive system, the quattro.
The official performance figures of the Audi RS3
say it can rocket from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and can keep doing it until it reaches a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
