Motoren Technik Mayer, MTM for short, revealed today their upgrade program for Audi’s latest super hot hatch - the RS3 Sportback. MTM worked mostly on the performance side, and left the exterior of the Audi RS3 untouched. Well, except for the bright and colorful livery, which covers the car's factory aerodynamics. The MTM Audi RS3 is powered by the same 2.5-liter, 5-cylinder, TFSI turbocharged engine as the standard model, but it features several improvements, grouped in three levels of power output. The entry level MTM Audi RS3 comes with a re-mapped ECU which takes the output up to 410 hp. With the help of a new downpipe and a metal catalyst, MTM is able to raise the output of the RS3 to 424 hp. The top of the range MTM RS3 also features a modified turbo, which increases the output of the Sportback to 472 hp.
MTM prices these upgrades between 1,900 EUR and 9,185 EUR.
MTM's Audi RS3 program also offers an intercooler reinforcement (100 EUR), a new air filter (190 EUR), and new performance spark plugs (363 EUR). They can also remove the speed limiter of the RS3 for 1,000 EUR.
Apart from these performance upgrades, MTM also equips the RS3 with 19-inch alloys, and a more capable braking system.
