The Audi RS3 has just been confirmed over the weekend as the first images of its steering wheel and dials surfacing the web. Both the steering wheel and the dashboard / dials wear the Audi RS3 badge which confirms the fact that the new performance version will actually see the light of day. When exactly the Audi RS3 will come is still a mystery, but we'll definitely have a chance of driving it. We might get to see the Audi RS3 for the first time at the next Geneva show in March 2011, but this is pure speculation at the moment.
The general opinion is that the Audi RS3 will be powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, developing 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. with this much power and taking into account its probable
weight, the Audi RS3 will be able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds. It's top speed will most probably be electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).
The main competition for the Audi RS3 will be the Golf R and the BMW 135i, but with 340 hp under its belly, the Audi RS3 will eat them for breakfast.
