BMW announced today that their 730Ld 7 Series limo received the Professional Driver Car of the Year award for 2011. The BMW 730Ld also won in the Chauffeur Car of the year category. We bet that 730Ld customers, who drive their own car, feel kind of awkward right about now. BMW's 730Ld saloon won the award defeating the competition which included the Audi A8L and the Jaguar XJL. Even if the BMW 730Ld was chosen as the winner by a team of chauffeurs, if we had to choose between it and A8L, we'd probably choose to be taken for a ride in the Audi. The BMW 730Ld received the first place thanks to its high fuel economy, of up to 40 mpg, which makes it highly affordable for chauffeurs on a lease basis.
Even though the Audi A8L won in terms of comfort,
good looks and luxury, the BMW 730Ld still managed to come out in front, thanks to various other optional services the company offers.
