BMW announced today that the BMW Alpina B7 xDrive, the four-wheel-drive version of the Alpina 7 Series, will have its global debut at the New York International Auto Show next month. The BMW Alpina B7 xDrive promises to be the most dynamic version of the 7 Series model range and will be offered as a standard and long-wheelbase model.
The details of the BMW Alpina B7 xDrive are scarce at the moment, but the car will probably be powered by the same 4.4 liter V8 engine as the RWD model. This means the BMW Alpina B7 xDrive develops 500 hp and 700Nm of torque. With the weight added by the four wheel-drive system, the performance numbers of the BMW Alpina B7 xDrive might be lower than the one of the RWD model. The BMW Alpina B7 xDrive price will also be higher.
