BMW X1 facelift (2013) Leaked

 »  »  »

Today we get the first chance to see the new BMW X1 facelift (2013) thanks to a few leaked images. BMW did not yet release any official details / specifications for the 2013 X1, but there are a few speculations going around. Apparently, the new BMW X1 (2013) will be sold with only one engine choice. It will be a 2.0-liter turbo unit with an output of just under 250 hp and 350 Nm of torque. However, we believe that the new 2013 BMW X1 will eventually be available with a diesel engine too. The new generation of the BMW X1 is set to debut at the 2012 NY auto show, and it will probably go on sale this fall. The 2013 X1's price and exact date when it will go on sale are still a mystery.

The exterior design of the 2013 BMW X1 has not changed much in comparison to its predecessor.

We're not really sure if we can even call it a facelift. The only differences we were able to spot include the slightly modified design of the headlights' internals and the new front bumper, which now has a much wider lower grille. Unfortunately, we don't have an image of the 2013 X1's rear end yet. As far as its interior goes, it's pretty much the same business as before. BMW might offer some new material and color choices for the 2013 X1's interior.

We'll have all the details and images of the 2013 BMW X1 towards the end of this week.
