The 2013 Dubai International Motor Show starts today, so it was to be expected for Bugatti to launch a special edition model with this occasion. Today special edition has one of longest names in automotive history. It's called the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Meo Costantini. The Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini is the third model in the "Les Legendes de Bugatti" series, which is going to have six cars in total. This Veyron Vitesse pays homage to Meo Costantini, who was a close friend of Ettore Bugatti, the company's founder. Meo Costantini was the head of Bugatti's racing team and he was also a driver. He managed to win the Targa Florio two times in the Bugatti Type 35. The Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini's price is set at €2.09 million Euros, excluding taxes and transport. Bugatti is going to build just three units of the Veyron Meo Costantini.

Most of the parts of the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini are made from carbon fiber. Some of them are rendered in aluminum, including the wings, the doors, the parts behind the doors, the "medaillons" (French) and the corners of the front bumper. The rest is finished in blue. The Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini's rear wing (air-brake) comes with a logo representing the track of the Targa Florio. Meo Costantini's signature is engraved on the aluminum tank and oil caps. At the interior, the Veyron Meo Costantini comes with a two-tone leather upholstery in a cognac tone and Lake Blue. There are also various logos reminding of the man who gives the name of this Veyron.

The Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini is powered by the 8-liter W16 engine that spits out 1,200 hp at 3,000–5,000 rpm and 1,500 Nm of torque. The Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini can accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 408.84 km (253 mph).
