On May 9, 2008, the Cadillac CTS-V managed there a 7:59.32 lap time, which made it the fastest production sedan on the famous track.
The Cadillac CTS-V is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that's good for 556 hp and 551 lb-ft of torque. The car will be launched on the North American market in November this year with a price tag of $59,995.
