The world premiere of the new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V took place today at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The CTS-V is Cadillac's answer to the BMW M5, and the Mercedes E63 AMG. According to the official specifications, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V's 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine develops 640 hp and 855 Nm of torque. With so much power under its hood and an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 2016 CTS-V Caddy is able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. It tops at 200 mph (320 km/h). In comparison to its predecessor, the new Cadillac CTS-V (2016) comes with new exterior and interior styling and upgraded technology. There are 19-inch alloys, countless interior and exterior carbon fiber trim parts, and a sport exhaust system with four tail pipes.

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V's equipment list includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the CUE infotainment system, a Performance Data Recorder and a Bose sound system.
