Hennessey Performance announced today their Cadillac CTS-V Coupe upgrade program, which will be made available in 12 units only. Hennessey's power kit for the CTS-V Coupe takes the output of the 427 cubic inch LS V8 engine up to a Veyron-frightening 1,000 bhp at 6,400 rpm and 950 lb-ft torque at 4,000 rpm. Hennessey claims that their new CTS-V Coupe Caddy can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and that it can reach a top speed of 230 mph. The Hennessey CTS-V Coupe can run the quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 136 mph.
To get the extra power, Hennessey fitted the CTS-V Coupe, among others, with forged pistons, rods, and crank, high-flow cylinder heads, an upgrade fuel injection system, twin ball bearing turbochargers and dual wastegates.

To be able to manage all this extra power, the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe had to get a new suspension system, bigger brakes, and an upgraded transmission.
The coupe version of the Hennessey CTS-V also features a more aggressive aerodynamics package.
The body kit includes a front spoiler and side skirts, a rear diffuser, wider fenders, and a new hood.
The Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V Coupe price has not been announced yet, but expect to be quite significant. All these upgrades cost a lot, you know.
