Chevrolet presented at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas to custom concepts based on the Tahoe and one based on the Suburban. The Chevrolet Suburban Half-Pipe concept is equipped with ski and snowboard gear, including a roof rack and crossbars. The Chevy Suburban Half-Pipe comes with 22-nich alloys, a Blu-ray-based rear-seat entertainment system, and leather seats. The Chevrolet Tahoe Black concept comes with a dark exterior finish, naturally, 22-inch alloys, tinted headlights, a new body kit and Carbon Flash Metallic interior trim parts. The new Chevrolet Tahoe Police concept comes with all the bells and whistles you would expect from a highway patrol vehicle. It is powered by the 5.3L V8 engine, which is good for 355 hp.
The engine of the new Tahoe patrol car is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Chevy Tahoe Police comes with 17-inch steel wheels, a "police-specific suspension" system, whatever that means, and an auxiliary battery for the emergency equipment.
