Hennessey Performance announced this week their power upgrade program for the new Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Hennessey announced they are going to offer two power upgrade programs for the Hellcat Challenger, which include the HPE800 and the HPE850. The factory version of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is powered by a 6.2-liter HEMI supercharged V8 engine that puts out 707 hp and 880 Nm of torque. Hennessey's HPE800 powerkit increase the output of the Hellcat to 805 bhp at 6,200 rpm. Hennessey Dodge Challenger Hellcat HPE800 powerkit includes a reprogrammed ECU, a high flow air filter, a lower pulley upgrade that increases boost by 1-2 psi, and a port matched throttle body. Hennessey's HPE850 power upgrade increases the output to 852 bhp at 6,200 rpm.
In addition to the HPE800, the HPE850 includes a ported supercharger housing.
Visually, the Hennessey's Dodge Challenger Hellcat distinguishes itself through embroidered head rests, and various badges. the price of these new power upgrades has not been announced yet.
