Some machines seem to be built just too well to allow any form of improvement. It looks like Edo Competition does not agree with this as they took the job of giving more performance to one of the icons of the automotive industry - the Ferrari Enzo. The Edo Ferrari Enzo benefits from a 700 hp power increase thank to new exhaust headers (similar to the ones on the Ferrari FXX), a high-flow catalytic converter, a performance muffler, a modified intake with ram-air system, high-flow air filters and an ECU recalibration. The Edo Ferrari Enzo develops around 715 Nm (527 ft-lb) at 5800 rpm, has a top speed of more than 370 km/h (230 mph) and the following acceleration figures: 0 – 100 km/h in 3.5s, 0 – 200 km/h in 9.5s and 0 – 300 km/h in 22.0s.
The Edo Ferrari Enzo also comes with stainless steel muffler with an adjustable remote-controlled butterfly-valve and new exhaust tips which offer the possibility of changing the exhaust note at a touch of a button.
The Edo Ferrari Enzo has also been fitted with a sport suspension for the road with adjustable compression and rebound damping similar with the one on the FIA GT MC12 while the nose lift functionality has been retained.
The modifications list of the Edo Ferrari Enzo also includes:
- Wheels can be custom-painted on request
- Tire pressure monitoring system displaying air pressure and tire temperature for each wheel
- Special lightweight wheels with Michelin tires
- Front: 10 x 19 with 265/35 ZR 19
- Rear: 13 x 20 with 335/30 ZR 20
- New high-performance clutch. Extremely lightweight. Two different friction compounds selectable (strada/pista)
- New transmission control unit. Same shift times as on the Ferrari FXX
