New details of the future Ferrari Enzo, the F70, leaked today thanks to a British magazine. Ferrari's F70 Enzo is expected to be premiered later this year, before going on sale in 2013. As expected, it will feature the HY-KERS system, which boosts the power of the engine and at the same time it reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The Ferrari F70 is going to be powered by a hybrid drivetrain, which includes a V12 engine and an electric motor. The power will be sent to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The output of the Ferrari F70 is expected to between 800 hp and 900 hp. This will make the future Enzo Ferrari's flagship model. The F70 also features an energy recuperation system, which will recharge the hypercar's lithium-ion batteries.

The Ferrari Enzo (F70) is built upon a carbon fiber chassis and it will feature active aerodynamics as well as the carmaker's latest technology. It is expected to be the most efficient and "clean" Ferrari ever built. It will also have one of the best power-to-weight ratios, of around 1,300 hp per ton. The F70 Enzo has the ability to run in an electric-only mode, but it's not clear at the moment whether or not the production vehicle will be able to do that.

We'll have more details about the new Ferrari Enzo (F70) as soon as they're available.
