Video: Ferrari Enzo Goes Swimming

 »  »  »

Another Enzo bites the dust as it goes swimming in the Atlantic. This highly modified Ferrari Enzo was entered in the 1,300-mile Targa Newfoundland 2011 rally, when it made a little "boo boo", as Roland Linder, team instructor and navigator, says. Because of some bumps in the road, the Enzo's driver lost control of his very expensive and rare supercar, and ended up in the water. This yellow Enzo racer, which is priced at more than 1 million Euros, was modified to look and offer the same performance levels as the track-only Ferrari FXX. The driver was not hurt in the incident, and apparently, the car, even though it was badly damaged, can be repaired.

The race car is owned by Zahir Rana, a Canadian

exotic car dealer (ZR Auto), who is also "responisble" for the EDO Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution. It's possible that the yellow Ferrari Enzo modified by Edo Competition, and the car enjoying water sports in this video, are in fact one the same vehicle.

Watch the Ferrari Enzo take a plunge in the ocean in the video below.

Thanks for the tip Paul.
