 »  »  »

This video was shot in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by a security camera. It shows a Ferrari 456 crashing into a small Volkswagen Gol. Apparently, the driver of the Ferrari 456 lost control of his supercar and entered in a head-on collision with the VW. The unfortunate accident took place last Thursday, on the Libertador Avenue. The girl driving the Volkswagen Gol escaped with several broken bones and other minor injuries. The driver of the Ferrari was ok.

Both vehicles, the VW Gol and the Ferrari 456 seem broken beyond repair, which means Argentina lost yet another supercar.

The Ferrari 456 was built between 1992 and 2003 and was the predecessor of the much better known

612 Scaglietti. It is powered by a 5.5-liter V12 engine developing 436 hp. The Ferrari 456 is able to reach a top speed of 188 mph (302 km/h) and it requires 5.2 seconds for the 0-62 mph (100 km/h) acceleration.
