This Ferrari 458 Challenge vive video was shot during the supercars debut at the Bologna Motor Show last week. The Ferrari 458 Challenge, the racing version of the Italia, is powered by the 4.5-liter V8 powerplant that sends 570 mad Italian horsepowers to the rear wheels via dual-clutch F1 style transmission. The Ferrari 458 Challenge is the company's first track only model to be equipped with an E-Diff electronic differential.
The Ferrari 458 Challenge is lighter than the street going version, sits 50 mm closer to the ground and comes with 19 inch racing wheels covered with Pirelli slick tires. To make it lighter, Ferrari's engineers gave it thinner body panels, plastic windows and exchanged various
other part with carbon fiber ones.
