Ferrari is going to premiere a new model at this year's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, called the Super America 45. Ferrari says the Super America 45 is a one-off bespoke model commissioned by a wealthy New York enthusiast. Ferrari did not disclose any details regarding the new Super America 45, apart from the fact that it's powered by a 6.0-liter, V12 engine and it's a convertible.
It's not uncommon for Ferrari to build one-off vehicles for very special customers. One such bespoke supercar is the Glickenhaus P4/5 Ferrari, which will also be on display during the 2011 Concorso. Over the year's many famous and rich people approached Ferrari, Pininfarina and other high-end manufacturers for building special cars.
One of the famous cases is the one of film director Roberto Rossellini who had a special car built for his wife, Ingrid Bergman.
We'll have more details and images of the Ferrari Super America 45 as soon as they're available.
