Endora SC 1 Chassis Revealed

The Germans from Endora Cars revealed today the chassis of their new supercar, the SC-1, together with a few new details regarding their vehicle. The SC-1 is a reinterpretation of the European and American model of the 60s and 70s. It aims to combined their best features and put them in a modern form. Endora built the chassis of the SC-1 based on the sixth generation Corvette, which promises to offer sporty driving characteristics, good handling and everyday usability.

For the suspension of the SC-1, Endora went for cast aluminum upper and lower control arms, ultralight transverse-mounted composite leaf springs and monotube shock absorbers for all four wheels. The Endora SC-1 is equipped as standard with electronic traction control and

an Active Handling-system, perforated disc brakes and front and side airbags for the driver and the passenger. The Endora SC-1 also comes with an alarm system, keyless entry with starter button, and dual automatic climate control, 19 inch alloy wheels in the front and 20 inch rims in back.

The entry level Endora SC-1 is powered by a 6.2-liter aluminum V8 engine developing 437 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. The mid-level model has a 7.0-liter V8 with 512 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, while the top of the range version of the SC-1 has supercharged version of the 6.2-liter with an output



of 647 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque. Endora equips the SC-1 as standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, optionally, they’ll sell you the SC-1 with six-speed automatic with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The price of the Endora SC-1 has not been announced yet.
