Evosport announced that it has developed the evo1 Power Package for the Mercedes 63 AMG engine. The Mercedes 63 AMG engine is a 6.2 liter V8 that's found in the C63, CLK63, CLK63 Black Series, E63, CLS63, SL63, CL63, S63, ML63 and R63 AMG.
The company says the Evosport Power Package raises the horsepower figure by more than 41 HP and the torque by 14 FT-LBS on CA 91 octane pump gas. For Mercedes 63 AMG engine, the Evosport Power Package adds 87 hp more and 39 FT-LBS of torque.
The Evosport evo1 Power Package includes a custom-designed and engineered, fully dampened underdrive crankshaft pulley manufactured by Evosport that uses Active Damping Technology for optimal damping at all RPM ranges. The kit also includes the appropriate length accessory belt, a modified crankshaft bolt and a custom-tuned Powerchip/evosport ECU upgrade.
