Polyphony Digital has revealed the first GranTurismo 5 Red Bull X1 video which shows various aspects of its creation process together with a number of scenes shot in the game. The GranTurismo 5 Red Bull X1 is a virtual race car that outputs 1482 hp and 527 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with a CVT transmission. Its creators say the GranTurismo 5 Red Bull X1 is able to reach, in the game, a top speed of 249 mph (400 km/h) which will make it one of the fastest cars in the video game. The GranTurismo 5 Red Bull X1 is able to reach such speeds thanks to its low weight of just 545 kg.
