Gumpert Teases New Model

 »  »  »

Gumpert announced today that they're going to premiere a new model at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show. Unfortunately, the German carmaker did not disclose its name, nor any of its details. However, they did release this low-resolution teaser photo. Judging from the fuzzy image, we could speculate that the new model is a sportier version of the GUMPERT apollo sport. Gumpert's latest model is the Tornante, which could also be the base car of the company's mysterious new model. In any case, we'll find out everything about Gumpert's new supercar at the next year's Geneva show.

Gumpert says that they have already tested the new car on the Altenburg airport, and that they are pleased with the results.

Gumpert is a low volume supercar manufacturer from Germany. So far, it has developed some of the most extreme machines allowed on public roads today. Among those is the apollo, which, at one point, was the fastest vehicle on Top Gear's chart.
