The specialists from HKS have released the details of their first Honda CR-Z upgrade program. Although not extensive, the HKS Honda CR-Z promises to bring a more sporty feel to the new hybrid. The HKS Honda CR-Z comes equipped with a new Hipermax III suspension system that is fully adjustable in both spring and damping rates. With the new suspension, the ride height of the HKS Honda CR-Z can be lowered by 37 mm.
The HKS Honda CR-Z program also includes a new exhaust muffler which gives the Japanese hybrid a new "voice".
For better performance, although we think the results are not yet groundbreaking, the HKS Honda CR-Z program also offers a new intake and an
ECU upgrade. The company however, does not say how many hp will gain if you install the new HKS Honda CR-Z cold air intake and ECU. The new HKS Honda CR-Z will remove the electronic speed limiter which in the standard car stops it from going over 180 km/h.
The HKS Honda CR-Z price will be announced at a later date.
