Yesterday, the power crazed tuners from Hennessey Performance have revealed the details of their Chevrolet Camaro Convertible upgrade program, called HPE700 LS9. The Hennessey Camaro Convertible is powered by the 6.2-litre LS9 V8 engine that has been upgraded to output a tire bursting 755 bhp at 6,400 rpm and 763 lb-ft of torque at a low 3,200 rpm. The performance numbers are what you would expect them to be. The Hennessey Camaro Convertible is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and to run the quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 130 mph. The Hennessey Camaro Convertible manages to brake from 60 mph to 0 in 104 ft. and the tuner says it can pull up to 1.01 G on the skidpad.
Apart from the ling list of performance upgrades,
which is available after the jump, the Hennessey Camaro Convertible also comes with various handling upgrades. The Hennessey Camaro Convertible program includes Brembo brakes with 6 and 4 piston calipers and 15 inch cross-drilled rotors, a KW / HPE Variant 3 adjustable coil-over suspension and front and rear sway bars from the same manufacturer.
The Hennessey Camaro Convertible price list has not been announced yet.
