The Honda HSV-010 GT, the company’s new race car has been unveiled today. HSV stands for Honda Sports Velocity. The Honda HSV-010 GT will compete in the GT500 class of the 2010 Super GT Series. The Honda HSV-010 GT is powered by a 3.4-liter V8 liquid-cooled, naturally aspirated engine with 2 intake and 2 exhaust valves per cylinder that develops 500+ hp and 392+ Nm of torque. The top speed and the 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of the Honda HSV-010 GT have not been revealed yet, nor the compression ratio of the engine. The power of the Honda HSV-010 GT is being sent to the wheels via a constant mesh transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The Honda HSV-010 GT is fitted with a double

wishbone suspension system with a torsion bar and has a hydraulic ventilated disc braking system.

The Honda HSV-010 GT weighs 1,100 kg and measures 4.675 m in length and 2.000 in width. The height of the Honda HSV-010 GT has not been disclosed yet. The race car has a 2.700 m wheelbase.
