John Danby Racing released today the images and details of the JDR Honda NSX which will debut at in the final round of the Britcar Championship which will take place in Kent on the Brands Hatch race track. The JDR Honda NSX was built David Fenn, who is Britcar race winner and has already been tested at Snetterton in Norfolk last Friday with driver James Barclay at the wheel.

The JDR Honda NSX features the latest technology and comes with engine control and data-logging capabilities including GPS, Fly by Wire and live feed video. The JDR Honda NSX also comes with new and improved dampers and brakes.

However, the manufacturer has not released yet figures regarding the power output and performance numbers of the JDR Honda NSX.

Experienced sportscar team John Danby Racing will debut the Honda NSX for owner and Britcar race winner David Fenn having completed the build of the Japanese sportscar in time for this season’s final Britcar round at Brands Hatch on the 7th November.

The unique Honda NSX has been built to comply with the Britcar Production regulations and completed



a successful shakedown test at Snetterton in Norfolk last Friday with sportscar racer James Barclay.

John Danby Racing has undertaken the build of the unique Honda NSX for owner and driver David Fenn who is a long time fan of Honda’s iconic supercar. “The uniqueness and advanced technology involved in this project presented several new challenges and we are pleased to debut this exciting car at the last event of the 2009 season,” says John Danby, Team Principal.

John Danby Racing have developed the car to

include the latest technology and features innovative engine control and data-logging capabilities including GPS, Fly by Wire and live feed video. High specification custom solutions have also been engineered for the NSX such as dampers and brakes.

Motoring journalist and television personality Vicki Butler-Henderson will drive the debut race for the Honda NSX alongside John Danby Racing regular James Barclay in the daytime Production race. Car owner and Britcar regular David Fenn will then drive the NSX in the evening GT race alongside Barclay.

“We are excited with the potential of the NSX following our test programme and look forward to a solid debut performance,” says John Danby.
