As all the other car manufacturers, Honda is also trying to find ways of improving their business and has stopped the Honda NSX project. The latest victim of the automotive industry crisis is powered by a V10 engine developing in the region of 550 hp and was aimed at Ferrari and Porsche.

The announcement that the Honda NSX project is stopped was made by Takeo Fukui, CEO of Honda, in his end of year speech.

The previous Honda NSX was produced for fifteen years until it was eventually put out of production in 2005.

The new Honda NSX was on its way to become a great model as it was clocked around the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 37 seconds. This is Nissan GT-R territory.

In the same speech, Mr. Takeo Fukui also announced that the introduction of the Acura brand in Japan has also been cancelled.
