Ex Ayrton Senna Honda NSX on Auction

Ayrton Senna's Honda NSX is set to go on auction at Silverstone Auctions' Race Retro & Classic Car Sale on the 22nd and 23rd of February. Senna's 1992 Honda NSX was actually purchased by his good friend, Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga, who was also his manager and mentor. Since the tragic accident that ended Ayrton Senna's amazing Formula 1 career, the NSX was kept in Braga's garage. No one was ever allowed to touch it or drive it. Ayrton Senna is considered one, if not the greatest Formula 1 driver who ever lived. So the car comes with an incredible pedigree. Ayrton Senna's Honda NSX is expected to fetch between £75,000 and £85,000. It features a black exterior finish and a black leather interior. It comes with a manual transmission. The car rolled for 31,800 miles up until this moment.

Senna was personally involved in the development of the Honda NSX. At the time they were developing the NSX, Honda was supplying the engines for the McLaren F1 team, for which Senna was a driver at that moment.
