Kia announced that it's going to launch the 2013 pro_cee'd GT in the second half of 2013. Unfortunately, at this time, Kia did not disclose any details regarding the 2013 pro_cee'd GT, except the fact that it's based on the new pro_cee'd model that had its global debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. They also released the first sketch of the Kia pro_cee'd GT, which we're pretty sure it's far in terms of design from the production model. The Kia pro_cee'd GT is going to be the Korean carmaker's first hot hatch. It will be powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged GDI engine coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox. So far Kia did not announce the power output and the performance figures of the new GT pro_cee'd (2013).
In terms of exterior design, the Kia pro_cee'd GT will probably have slightly more aggressive looks and possibly a higher quality interior. Bigger brakes and a stiffer suspension than the ones of the standard pro_cee'd are also to be expected. We'll have more details regarding the pro_cee'd GT as soon as Kia makes them available.
