Kia revealed the new generation of the cee'd (2013) at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Kia's best selling European model, the second generation of the cee'd (2013), is back with new exterior and interior styling, upgraded engines and more equipment than ever. For starters, the 2013 cee'd comes with a completely new front end, featuring re-designed headlights with integrated LED DRLs, a new front bumper with embedded fog lights, and a modified bonnet. The rear of the new Kia cee'd (2013) exhibits more appealing taillights, a new bumper and overall modified proportions.

In comparison to the previous generation of the hatchback, the 2013 cee'd is 50 mm longer and 10 mm lower. It has a 10-mm narrower body and a wider track (17 mm at the front and 32 mm at the rear).

These modified dimensions make the 2013 Kia cee'd appear more planted and to be more aerodynamic (Cd 0.30). The interior of the new cee'd (2013) offers 12 mm more headroom and 21 mm more legroom in the front, and 5 mm of increased shoulder room at the rear. The 2013 cee'd boot's capacity is increased to 380 liters (up 40 liters).

The equipment list of the new Kai cee'd (2013) also shows a visible improvement. The 5-doot hatch is now equipped with a tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustment, iPod, Aux and USB connectivity, and a multi-mode trip computer.

Optionally, the Kia's 2013 cee'd can be fitted with a TFT 'Supervision' Cluster, dual-zone climate control, powered driver’s seat adjustment and huge panoramic glass roof.

In terms of driver aids and safety equipment, Kia offers the 2013 cee'd with the Parallel Park Assist System (PPAS), ESP, ABS with BAS, HAC (Hill Assist Control), and VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) and ESS (Emergency Stop Signal).

The 2013 Kia cee'd's price and availability will be announced at a later date. All the details and specifications of the new cee'd (2013) are available here.
