Kia revealed today the new pro_ceed GT, which is going to have its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. Kia is expected to put the pro_ceed GT on sale sometime at the middle of this year. The Kia pro_ceed GT is powered by a 1.6-litre GDI turbocharged petrol engine that develops 204 PS (201 bhp) and 265 Nm (195lb/ft) of torque. The power goes to the pro_ceed GT's front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The official specifications say that the pro_ceed GT is able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.9 seconds. Its top speed, fuel economy and CO2 emissions have not been disclosed yet. The equipment list of the new pro_ceed GT includes 18-inch alloys, Recaro sport seats, LED DRLs, red brake calipers and dual-exhaust pipes.
Kia did not announce the pro_ceed GT's price at this moment. We'll have more details about the new hatchback on March 5th.
