Tiff Needell from Fifth Gear reviews in this video the Lamborghini Gallardo Performante, which he takes for a trip around the south of France. The Performante is Lamborghini's ultimate version of the Gallardo - an answer to the Ferrari $%* Italia and the McLaren MP4-12C. Lambo's Gallardo Performante is powered by the 5.2 liters V10 engine which has received a few extra horsepower, for a total output of 570 hp and 540 Nm of torque. This is more than the Ferrari, but still under the 600 PS and 600 Nm of the McLaren.
In terms of performance figures, the Lamborghini Gallardo Performante is able to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 324 km/h. One of the reasons the Gallardo Performante is able to offer such performance,
is a weigh saving program, which made it 65 kg lighter than the regular model.
