Land Rover DC100 Expedition

Land Rover is celebrating its 25th anniversary on the American market today at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. To mark this occasion, Land Rover revealed a special version of their DC100 concept, called Expedition. The Land Rover DC100 Expedition explores new design directions for the future generation Defender, which should be unveiled in the near future. Unfortunately, Land Rover did not disclose any other details regarding the DC100 Expedition. We can assume that it is just a styling exercise, and that the car underneath that orange / white livery is the same as the concept unveiled in Frankfurt last year.

In comparison to the original Land Rover DC100 concept, the Expedition features a different set of wheels, a new exterior finish, and new side mirrors.

The exhaust of the DC100 Expedition has also been modified in order for the 4x4 to be able to enter the water. The new DC100 also comes with a set of roof rails and it features all the equipment you'll need well... during an expedition.

We'll have more details about the Land Rover DC100 Expedition as soon as the manufacturer makes them available.
