The updated 2012 Land Rover Defender was revealed just a coupled of weeks ago, and the company is already preparing it's future generation. Land Rover announced today that it will premiere the DC100 Concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show next month. The Land Rover DC100 Concept previews the future design direction of the company's Defender model range. The DC100 Concept presents a modern interpretation of the iconic Defender, and even if it will not make it into production in this form, some of its styling elements will surely be transferred to the future commercial model. In fact Land Rover says that the DC100 is the beginning of a four year developing period, which will result in the future generation Defender.
Unfortunately, Land Rover is still keeping the details of the DC100 a secret. However, they do mention the fact that the DC100 will remain true to its Land Rover heritage, while adapting to modern market conditions.
