Today's new rumor is that the Lexus CT model range is on the way as the company's new competitor in the compact class. The Lexus CT is going on the same segment as the BMW 1 Series and the Audi A3 and will be available exclusively with hybrid powertrains. The new range will include the Lexus CT 200h, CT 300h is CT 400h and will be premiered in a concept form at this year's Frankfurt Auto Show.
Apparently, CT stands for Compact Tourer and company officials say the Lexus CT will have a higher stance than usual for the segment.
Currently, information on the Lexus CT is scarce, but some sources say the company has already registered the trademark so there's a good possibility the model will hit the market in the near future.
