Lexus revealed today the LS 600h Landaulet one-off coachbuilt limousine, which will be used for the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco, on 2 July. The Lexus LS 600h Landaulet features a special one-piece transparent polycarbonate roof and it will be used by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and Carlene Wittstock as their official royal wedding car. For converting the Lexus LS 600h into the Landaulet limo, they enlisted the help of Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet.

Lexus says that it took 2,000 hours to complete the Landaulet LS 600h. The process involved various computer-aided design calculation, simulations and 3D modeling. The Landaulet LS 600h wedding vehicle had to be reinforced,

so its bodyshell features Kevlar and carbon fiber honeycomb structures.

Lexus gave the LS Landaulet a hand applied Midnight Blue livery. The roof of the wedding limo was developed in collaboration with a French company that specializes in offering such components for the aerospace industry. The roof of the Lexus LS Landaulet is 8mm thick, weighs just 26kg and it's fixed to the body of the 600h.

During the wedding, the Lexus LS 600h Landaulet will operate in electric mode only and after the event, it will be displayed at the Media Center and at the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco.

Lexus did not disclose the price of the LS 600h Landaulet limo.
