Lotus Evora Cabrio Will Have 2 Seats

 »  »  »

More details on the Lotus Evora Cabrio have recently emerged saying the convertible version will have only two seats. Although the regular model offers a choice between two or four seats, the Lotus Evora Cabrio will be available strictly with two seats. The engineers at Lotus are trying to give the Lotus Evora Cabrio an electric folding roof which apparently will be stored in the space for the rear seats. Taking into account the company's light weight philosophy, the new version is more likely to have a soft-top rather than a hard-top.

The Lotus Evora Cabrio will enter the market sometime in the following three years and will feature a new paddle-shift gearbox. The Lotus Evora Cabrio will probably be powered by the same 276 hp 3.5-litre V6, but rumors have started to surface about a supercharged version developing more than 300 hp.
