New MINI Scooter E images have surfaced the web today, showing that the new electric scooter, announced a coupled of weeks back, will actually be available in several versions. The world premiere of the new MINI Scooter E models will take place at the Paris auto show next week, opening a new line of models for the brand. The three different MINI Scooter E versions are inspired by the Mini Cooper E, on has a British Racing Green livery and one gets it's looks from the Mod era.
The exterior design of the MINI Scooter E is strongly influenced by the brand, and the new two-wheeler has all the design trademarks of the company. The speedometer, the headlights and various other styling cues of the MINI Scooter E are all inspired by the Mini Cooper.
Judging from the electric scooter unveiled by Daimler today, we can assume the new MINI Scooter E will be powered by an electric motor located at the rear wheel. However, Mini has not released any official information regarding this matter yet. If we're right, it means the MINI Scooter E will have a 4 kW motor and a range of up to 100 km.
You'll be able to control your MINI Scooter E with the help of your smarrtphone (iPhone) which will turn off the immobiliser and anti-theft protection.
