Minitune, a brand of the aftermarket specialists from TSS Tuning GmbH, launched today a new powerkit and a new body kit for the latest generation of the Mini Cooper S. Minitune's powerkit for the Mini Cooper S increases its output from 174 hp and 240 Nm of torque to 218 hp and 319 Nm of torque. To get the extra horsepower out of the Mini Cooper S' engine, Minitune reprogrammed its ECU. Minitune's new power kit for the Mini Cooper S, gives the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine a high-performance charging air intercooler, and a stainless steel sport exhaust system with a 200-cell sports catalyzer. The Minitune Mini Cooper S is also fitted with a Koni performance suspension system. Minitune's new body kit for the Mini Cooper S includes a new front bumper with wider air intakes, a modified front grille, and a new rear apron with an integrated diffuser. There's also a rear roof spoiler.
The distinctive features of Minitune's aftermarket program for the Mini Cooper S include a set of special LED lights with a Union Jack design. The car sits on a set of 18-inch wheels, Kumho tires, and EBC high-performance brakes.
Minitune did not disclose the price of their new mods for the Mini Cooper S.
