The aftermarket specialists from MR Car Design revealed today their upgrade program for the popular Volkswagen T5 (Transporter) van. Volkswagen started producing the fifth generation of their van, called the T5 or Transporter, back in 2003, and since then it has marketed several variations of the vehicle. MR Car Design's version of the Volkswagen T5 comes with a new body kit developed by ABT Sportsline which includes a front spoiler, new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, a rear spoilers, and side skirts. MR Car Design's kit for the VW Transporter also features a new sport exhaust system, with two double tailpipes, and huge, 22 inch, black rims.
The MR Car Design Volkswagen T5 Transporter sits
on an air suspension that's able to reduce the van's ride height by up to 100 mm.
The tuners from MR Car Design put some extra horsepower under the hood of VW's van. Their T5 Transporter develops 208 hp and 487 Nm of torque. MR Car Design also removed the top speed limited of the T5.
The price for the modifications done by MR Car Design on VW's T5 Transporter will be announced at a later date.
