Maserati launched the Maserati GranTurismo S in Asia at the Beijing Auto Show. The Maserati GranTurismo S houses a 4.7 liver V8 engine under the bonnet that outputs 440 hp. The Maserati GranTurismo S is also equipped with a fast MC-Shift gearbox, new brakes developed in collaboration with Brembo. The interior of the Maserati GranTurismo S features Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara and figure-hugging front and rear seats.
China is a growing market for Maserati that delivered 210 units in 2007, which is almost twice the volume delivered the previous year. Maserati is distributed in China by a network of 11 points of sale.
