The Italians from Mazzanti Automobili revealed at this year's Top Marques Monaco the new Evantra supercar, which is going to be limited to a production of 5 units per year. The Mazzanti Evantra measures 4,325 mm in length, 1,225 mm in height, 1,955 mm in width and it weighs 1,300 kg. It has a 2,550 mm long wheelbase. Its power comes from a massive 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that develops 701 hp at 6,600 rpm and 848 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. With this monster under its skin, the Mazzanti Evantra is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and to reach a top speed of more than 350 km/h. The Evantra can be equipped with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a sequential gearbox with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Mazzanti equips the Evantra with a dry sump lubrication system, and titanium connecting rods.

Mazzanti builds the Evantra on a steel chassis with a chrome-molybdenum rollcage. The body of the Evantra, which is called a PRO-BODY, is made from carbon fiber composite materials. Mazzanti is also offering a second body, the ONE-BODY, for the Evantra, which is made from aluminum and can be personalized by the customer. The body of the Evantra was developed in collaboration with Ysim, a company that has previously worked in Formula 1 and Le Mans.

For the interior of the Evantra, Mazzanti chose a natural leather upholstery, a data acquisition system developed by AIM, and a BOSCH Headunit (NAVI/CD/MP3).

The Evantra's "Tricolore" starter button is placed on the roof of the car. The Evantra offers two setting for the car, Strada (Street) and Corsa (Race). Its steering wheel features a small display that shows the gear the car is in.

The equipment list of the Mazzanti Evantra includes 20-inch OZ alloy wheels, Continental tires, and Brembo brakes with 380mm discs and 6 piston calipers at the front and 360mm discs with 4 piston caliper at the rear. Optionally, Mazzanti can deliver the Evantra with carbon-ceramic brakes.

The Mazzanti Evantra's price has not been announced yet. In case you're wondering what Evantra means, the carmaker says it's the name of the Goddess of immortality for the Etruscan people.
